Seriously.

Seriously. I love my friends. More than words can say.

and I seriously love their reactions when I tell them my current place of employment.

ha.

yeah. i feel that way, too.

and i love that in response to my mass email telling them that i now am employed by my alma mater, many of their reactions after CONGRATULATIONS and “you work WHERE?” include “man, i wish you were still on facebook. these updates could be insane.”

yeah. they could.

and so could a paul bunyan tattoo.

maybe i should get an eggplant tattoo instead.

or both!

(apparently i stop using proper caps when i get excited??)

i feel like to commemorate this new season of my life, i either need to quote Ecclesiastes or Eat, Pray, Love. um, and since i have yet to unpack all… three… of my Bibles… to inaugurate my new life, i give you Liz Gilbert!

“Still, despite all this, traveling is the great true love of my life. I have always felt, ever since I was sixteen years old and first went to Russia with my saved-up babysitting money, that to travel is worth any cost or sacrifice. I am loyal and constant in my love for travel, as I have not always been loyal and constant in my other loves. I feel about travel the way a happy new mother feels about her impossible, colicky, restless, newborn baby–I just don’t care what it puts me through. Because I adore it. Because it’s mine. Because it looks exactly like me. It can barf all over me if it wants to–I just don’t care.”

No, you should definitely tattoo Bethel’s mascot on your body. Nothing says, “Not only did I graduate from this place, but I now work here full time” like that.

We should get a tattoo together. I’m getting “Everything happens eventually” tattooed on my foot some time soon.
